Corporate Sales Executive-National Accounts
The Catalyst Recruiting Group www.catgroupinc.com is assisting a growing industrial distribution client to identify a seasoned national business development manager. This role will be responsible for developing business at the corporate level NOT a territory or sales manager role but a strategic business development at the national level. The targeted geography for this position will be the Mid Atlantic up through New England and will require residency in this area. This role will be focused on creating business with the corporate entities of large businesses with a national presence. They are looking for someone that closes 6-10 deals a year from 5mm+. This is a true sales/business development role and will not involve further maintenance or management of the created accounts. Although a “manager” in title, this is an individual contributor role that will require substantial travel from Maryland to New England with a focus on the tri-state area.
Absolutely Required: Bachelors Degree. Quantifiable experience penetrating corporate head quarters of large companies and sealing deals at the 5mm+ level. This will include value added consultative sales experience at the hirer levels of management.
Highly Desired: Large distribution…although not a deal breaker if the manufacturing/retail etc sales roles are structured similarly.
