Charleston,SC-The Catalyst Recruiting Group www.catgroupinc.com is working with a growing aerospace/aeronautics client to identify an Environmental Health and Safety Manager . Experience should include support of overall environmental issues such as: air and water permitting and regulations, implementation and modification of compliance programs, overseeing vendor selection and cost analysis for waste disposal/management, knowledge of local, state, and/or federal requirements. Additionally, candidates should have a working knowledge/experience of manufacturing and maintenance operations, as the EHS Leader will at times stand in as Plant Manager (during that person’s absence). This is a highly visible position within the organization. This role will have dual responsibilities at times over EH&S and operations.

ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED: Completed 4 year degree.  Operations/Manufacturing leadership experience. Recent experience in the aeronautical industry.  OSHA 40 hour cert.
