Facility Process Engineer
Our client is located outside of Atlanta, GA. They are looking for a experienced Facility Process Engineer to support their manufacturing operations. The primary function of this position is to lead and support projects and act as technical adviser interacting with the area Manufacturing Manager, Production, Marketing and R&D personnel. The successful candidate will be adept at troubleshooting and process improvement in a hands-on, production floor environment.
Required: A bachelor’s degree in Engineering. 3 years of experience within a manufacturing facility. Experience with PLC, refrigeration and a strong chemical/HAZMAT knowledge is key. Also, a strong self-motivated work ethic and ability to work independently.
Highly Desired: Documentable success in process improvement including Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen events, etc. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, Minitab and Vision. Familiarity with ISO, cGMP and FDA regulations.
