Atlanta, GA-The Catalyst Recruiting Group www.catgroupinc.com is looking for a Quality Manager with a strong operational background for a medical device division of a $2B corporation outside of Atlanta, GA. This is a Corporate position with responsibility for 6 direct reports and the CAPA, process improvement, and product release projects for their regional sterilization activities. Other duties include managing the bioburden program, coordination of sterilization validation activities, documentation review, and participation in regulatory agency, supplier, and contract service audits. An emphasis will also be placed on the candidate’s experience with Quality Assurance for new or modified product adoption, failure investigation, SOP revision and development, and Hazmat environments. This would be the perfect position for an up and coming high-energy line supervisor who has the drive to climb within an organization coupled with a strong team-centered, friendly rapport.

REQUIRED: BS degree in a related field of study, 5+ years of experience including 3+ with direct management/supervisory responsibilities in the medical device industry. Team-building success in a change agent role and positive track-record in ensuring compliance to EN, ISO, AAMI standards as well as FDA, OSHA, EPA requirements in a sterilization processing environment (preference given to candidates with Gamma, E-Beam, or EO experience). An intuitive understanding of how the influence of packaging, manufacturing processes and environmental regulations affect the validation and sterilization process. Expert technical writing and presentation skills, self-motivated personality, critical decision making ability.
