Our client is located in Chicopee, MA. They are looking for a experienced Process Engineer to support their manufacturing operations. The primary function of this position is to lead and support projects and act as technical adviser interacting with the area Manufacturing Manager, Production, Marketing and R&D personnel. The successful candidate will be adept at troubleshooting and process improvement, and a large emphasis will be placed on the Engineer’s understanding of and proficiency with web handling and coating operations in a hands-on, production floor environment. Medical experience would be a huge plus.

Required: A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. 3 years of experience within a manufacturing facility. Experience with web handling and coating processes and machinery. A strong self-motivated work ethic and ability to work independently.

Highly Desired: Documentable success in process improvement including Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen events, etc. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, Minitab and Vision. Familiarity with ISO, cGMP and FDA regulations.
