Quality Assurance
The Catalyst Recruiting Group www.catgroupinc.com is representing a growing class II and III Medical Device manufacturer in Michigan seeking 4 Quality Assurance openings each at a different level but within the same group. All these positions are responsible for improvements in and/or additions to quality and manufacturing processes with the end result of producing a better quality product more efficiently. Complexity will vary depending on level of QA professional. Each will be involved with leading or participating in projects requiring QA or multi-discipline team effort. Principal and Senior level Professionals will assign, delegate and assist duties or projects to lower level QA staff and be more involved with document control, complaint handling, writing technical files (CE Mark), etc. All positions will ensure compliance to company’s quality policy, respond to customer complaints, perform audits, develop test methods, and/or write procedures as required.
Requirements include a four-year degree (senior position prefers MS) with varying levels of QA MEDICAL DEVICE experience: QA I applicants need 1-3 years, QA II applicants need 3-5 years, Senior QA applicants need 6+ years, and Principal QA applicants should have 8+ years. CQE and/or CQA certifications are also required at senior level and above but also preferred for lower levels. Experience should include varying degrees of experience with handling complaints, internal auditing, project-based focus, stability testing, PPR reporting, qualifying new or improved manufacturing processes, calibration, document control, CAPA, and other QA functions.
