The Catalyst Group www.catgroupinc.com has been tasked by a growing medical device manufacturing client outside of Providence, RI to identify and evaluate a seasoned medical device quality engineer. This is a project focused position encompassing all aspects of the manufacturing life cycle dealing with quality planning, inspections, efficiency improvements, quality enhancements, release of materials, and other quality related functions within medical products/device manufacturing operation. A complete knowledge of quality systems including ISO, MDD, sampling plans, validations, IQ/OQ/PQ plans and documentation, CAPA with a focus on NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT. We are not looking for an engineer whose focus has been on mature product lines.
REQUIRED: Project management skills in a medical products with SPC, DOE, and process validation. Engineering or scientific degree. Management experience is preferred but not required for the right individual.
