Denver, CO-The Catalyst Group www.catgroupinc.com is working with a fast growing client to identify a Software Engineer for a newly developed position. This role design, develope, and test object-oriented C++ software while participating in the decision making for the design and implementation of solutions. This position will be responsible for full lifecycle software development creating code that meets design specifications, follows internal standards, and is easy to maintain. This position will also Estimate scope-of-work, and set/develop/track schedules.

ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED: - BS Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivilant) At least 4 years of relevant experience. Extensive experience in object-oriented and structured design using C/C+. Analytical and debugging skills to troubleshoot complex issues. Strong understanding of embedded systems and hardware/software interaction. Experience as an architect or technical lead on large project a strong plus. Electrical engineering and understanding of common scripting languages is a plus
