The Catalyst Group www.catgroupinc.com is working with a growing, multi-national medical device client in their search for a Continuous Improvement Leader for a one of their largest manufacturing facilities. This is a strategic position that will develop a multi-year implementation plan balancing corporate initiates with site goals. This position will be the site leader for lean manufacturing and black belt programs AND training programs for all levels of the organization with a focus on process improvement and cost savings. This role will also lead kaizen events to achieve increased production speed and/or eliminate product defects and waste. This position will be an individual contributor that will have cross functional responsibilities with quality, engineering and production.

REQUIRED: There are a few requirements, of course: Bachelor’s degree. Several years of operational excellence in an high volume manufacturing environment. Six Sigma Black Belt. Statistical software.

This position is going to be highly visible within this facility. They are looking for someone that can motivate people, drive change and fully reflect the corporate goals/initiatives for lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. This is a role for a strategic planner that has quantifiable examples of affecting the bottom line, accessing risk through root cause analysis and acting as a “change agent” through an organization.
