The Catalyst Group www.catgroupinc.com is working with a fast growing client to identify a Principal Software Engineer to help develop a new operating system for an industry leading medical device platform. This role will be a part of development of specifications, architectures, designs, schedules and unit and integration test plans related to product development activities and product upgrades. This position will be responsible for full lifecycle software development creating code that meets design specifications, follows internal standards, and is easy to maintain. This position will also Estimate scope-of-work, and set/develop/track schedules.

ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED: - BS Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivilant) At least 6 years of relevant experience. Extensive experience in object-oriented and structured design using C/C+. Experience with Linux Kernals and compilers to identify issues. Multi-thread programming.
