The Catalyst Group www.catgroupinc.com is targeting a Senior Program Manager for a growing medical device company located outside of Atlanta, GA. Our client is seeking a passionate, driven individual to lead diverse and innovative R&D programs from planning and administration of all development, concept through commercialization, to include including lab, clinical, market and transfer phases. Supervisory responsibilities will include 9 direct reports with Project Engineering and R&D functions. An emphasis will be placed on the candidate’s ability to serve as the technical expert and drive all development activities with a large emphasis on strong strategic / business development leadership.

REQUIRED: 4-year Technical Degree (Biomedical / Mechanical Engineering preferred). 8+ years of R&D Engineering with extensive Senior Project / Program leadership experience in major FDA-regulated medical device development programs through commercialization. Candidate should be able to define previous market success with a variety of product lines including surgical devices and polymer-based implantable disposables. Ability to learn quickly and manage unknowns.Background well-versed in KOL contact utilizing an entrepreneurial mindset. Previous direct supervision experience.
